Hello, I have a question. I have 2 12' JL Audio subs W6 with an American Bass 2000W amp. I am wondering if I will need to buy a different alternator. I have a '99 Cutlass Oldsmoble with stock alternator. Help please. Thank you.

What american bass amp? Its probably not really a 2000 watt amp.

Upgrade your Big 3 with 1/0awg & you should be fine as long as you properly installed the amp.

the amp only does 500 watts rms at 4ohms bridged .i sell ab amps and run them too
