help

i have a jl sub in my truck.... but now ganna get some jl speakers can i put under power....... do i need to get coax or componet or componet up front and coa in back.... wha do i do need help?
you MUST feed you speakers RMS power as a minimum, if you don't they subs will send a signal to the amp telling the amp to produce more power, and it will force the amp to try and produce more power than it can and it will overheat

depends on what kind of sound your looking for .if you look around you can get some decent components cheap for the frt,and just put some coaxials in the rear they usually aren't too expensive

this is bs.you can under power your speakers ,it's done every day.oh and by the way way subs don't send anything back to the amp it cant .

You've never heard of driver feedback? The subs want to draw their RMS amount of power, so when an amp isn't producing enough power, the sub tries to draw more than the amp produces. SO in turn, the amp tries to produce more power because of the dynamic feedback current the sub was trying to draw.

basic stuff...
