I’m putting together a new audio system for my car and can’t determine which amp would work best. I’m looking for something around 2000 rms, but not more than 2000. It’s going to push a HDC3-18. I was thinking of maybe an Audiopipe ap1800, Hifonics BRZ1700, Hifonics HFI2000, Hifonics Hercules XX. Since money is a big factor, cheaper is better. Anyone know if these amps can push what they claim or have another cheap amp idea?

that Hfi2000 won't do rated, the brz and hercules should.

that audiopipe will also.

its a 2 ohm DVC so it will be at 1 ohm

The AQ 2200 is an excellent choice.

If you go the Hifonics rout, look into the BRZ 2100.1, it will have the power you are looking for.

I can say that amp dose its rated (1400) at 2 ohms.
