Help!!!

I just installed subs and amp in my truck and everything was working fine all day yesterday and this morning then on my way to work they just completely cut out. The amp is still getting power and I checked that the subs are not blown. I checked all wiring and rca's. I plan on hooking up another amp to them when I get home to rule that out but if that doesnt work what else should I look for? I know I wasnt pushing the amp too hard cause it is more powerful than what my subs can handle so the gains were set at barely half. Any help is greatly appreciated.
