i am new to the car audio thing and i wanted to start off by getting 2 12"w6's and i think i want 2 500/1 jl amps but i'm not sure how that will be can everyone just tell me what they think? thanks also how much would this set up run me? and how much more will it cost to have it put in professionally or get a professional set up ? thanks for the help

Good subs but I would suggest the jbl 1200.1 , No need for 2 amps and spend more money , I have 2 alpine type R and a jbl 1200.1 and it is awesome !

no no no. I had a jl 500/1 pounding the hell outta my two jl 12 w3s which are basically a lowered sq version of the w6s. The jbl amp is a good amp and cheaper but that jl amp in my opinion is the better choice its an awsome amp and puts out alot more than its says it does get it you wont be sorry.

how much is the jbl amp and the jl 1000/1? i just wanted to get 2 amps cause i wanted more watts goin into each one i wanted them to hit pretty hard it just seemed like a good idea i don't knwo though thanks for the help if you can help
