i just put a new set up in my jeep and for some reason as soon as i turn up the volume im getting feedback even after i turn it down (through sub) not much of a noise just its moving back and forth non stop till i turn it off i threw a different amp in it and it did the same thing i moved my rca's to the oppisite side of the jeep of my power wire and still the same **** thing the system i had in it before (3 months ago) didnt do this that was a high end audio pipe 12" and a kenwood amp now i have a sony xplod and a soundstream lil wonder both work fine and a orion bule cobalt dual vc 12" what should i do next? replace rca's? i know there kinda old but its werid that it never did it before. any and all help is appreciated ive been outta the audio scene for a while now and just want a lil bass with my rock

where is your ground? what HU?

im gounded out to the chassis i just cut my ground stripped it and grinded my ground contact and whire wheeled my bolt ... hu? still does it but not as bad and on top of it its not hittin for shit and my lights are dimming thike a lil ***** .... never did this with the 600w kenwood and audio pipe and that gave me a fing headace it hit so hard, hence my reason for down grading and now all i got is fing issues

my kenwood was doing this also check your fm antenna connector, make sure its tight and not corroded!!! other than that good luck

havent really tried jammin to fm yet only cds io got it sitting in the shop i work at right now hoping this shit will go away lol

ok messed with it more and hit hit like *** lights dim and when the bass stops in the song speaker still moves, if i turn it down all the way i can feel it vibrate a lil bit but not moving as bad as it was before i cleaned the ground my buddie says it might be doe to the fact my rca's are 5yrs old and seen 3 different cars .... what you guys think?

my amp is a sony xplod xm-1002hx or i have a soundstream rubico 302 and the orion cobalt dv12 what amp would be better to use as well once this shit gets delt with ... i dont like BOOMING bass just crisp bass for my rock that and the sub is in a truck box sealed (for the most part ... it was a dual that was ported and well i cobbled) i plan on buying a new box but dont want to sacrifice cargo space as i have a yellow lab that rides back there and hes pretty big

edit gains are 1/2 way right now with sony hooked up at the moment

unplug the rcas from the amp. turn it on. does it still do it?

if yes, amp problem.

if no, HU or rca problem

must be rca or hu cause nothin with em unplugged think im go buy some better rcas and see what happens
