i am going to get a kicker cvx 15" sub rated @ 1,000 watts rms and a ma audio amp rated @ 1,000 watts rms for my 1998 mercury mystique gs and a 2 farad capacitor but my friend says it will fry my alternator real quick just wondering if he is right or not?
