if you got the w3v3-4 (wire in parallel to 2 ohms) then it would be "okay" I would still want a touch more power... That would only be about 250 a piece when they are rated at 300 and with most JL subs I've owned, I've liked a little more than their specs. It would work, it would probably sound great, but for maximum potential you may want to consider something else.

the a1400 is NOT going to run 1000 watts

If you have two probably not. The A1400 only does 500 watts at 2ohms and 320 at 4 ohms. Thats most definetly not the amount of power your going to want to feed them. What is your price range and maybe we could find you something?
