Try securing the unit to your radio/center console better. You should be able to add bracing or cushioning to fix the problem instead of buying another unit that will probably skip as well.

I have the exact same head unit and it ended up being the screws were to tight. All I did was loosen the screws a little and that fixed it. Haven't had any skipping issues at all since I did that...

It is entirely absurd for duplicate threads to be created - I've brought this pressing issue to the attention of the forum owners and moderators who will likely subpoena Cornuts' ISP for their logs in order to reveal his true identity and take legal action.
