does using an amp drain more battery from a car than not having an amp?

its just for car speekers nothing else

IF you have the car off, yes.

If you have the car on, no.

For a speaker amp it will probably pull 30-50A max, which is no more than your headlights on hi beam

hmm k

but what i mean is by using an amp drain more power from the battery compared to when i dont have one cause the car is having a problem chargin and i spoke to some people and we came to the conclusion that the speekers are to powerful so they sugested puttin in an amp but some my father reckons that uses more power than not having one in...

If you are having charging problems you might want to look into getting your alternator or battery tested. Im not shure how they do it down there but a local automotive shop would probably do it for free.

Dont worry about the amplifier for now, get that problem taken care of first.
