OK here is a basic layout of my sytem.

4 Door forenza with stock rear speakers and 6.5 components up front. the components are off a memphis PR100.2 and my M3 is running off a memphis PB400. well i have a single turn on wire until about 3 inches from the component amp terminal. there i spliced it into 2 and sodered it. well yesterday my soder came undone and it touched again and my sub amp went into protect mode and my components amp completely turned off. well i restart my car and there is this horrible static sound even on CD. and when ever i hit a button on my radio a loud burp comes out of my subwoofer, even when the volume is on 0 (pioneer 3800). well my dad came out and said that i blew a diode in my alternator. so i disconnect my amplifiers and turned on my headunit and only the back speakers are playing. no static no noise coming from the alternator. did i blow something in my amps? or is it the alternator???

so is it my aplifier headunit or alternator????

my dad says hes going to let me do the big three to the car this weekend in 2 gauge. so would that make a notable difference?

i bought it from circuit city. should i just return it and will they ive me a new one or do i have to wait for them to send it off all that other BS??? so is it for sure headunit cause my speakers that werent powered by a amp are playing with now static or burp sounds
