Help!!!

alright I had 2 boston acoustic pro tens running off a RF bd 1000p and now they are dead what happened I was running them of a JL 500/1 and they did fine now with the new amp both of them are fried and it stinks what happened I never ran them to the point of distortion or anything like that just all the sudden I heard rattling and I thought that it was the stock 6X9s then there was no thump in my system and it smelled like a blown speaker I was planning on getting a brahma 12 anyways but why would these subs just let go like that they are rated at 1100 watts so I know that I wasn't over powering them and like I said I wasn't playing them to distortion what could the problem be? PLEASE HELP sooo mad can't live without bass in my music

were those subs rated at 1100 rms each? seriously? hmm, ok

did u set the gain properly with the 1000bd?

this has become the big mystery now the guy at the shop where I bought these subs was like distortion is the only thing that will fry a sub like the way I did but it wasn't running at distortion levels hell it was about half maybe a little more than that when they let go but both of them at the same time c'mon didn't like the subs anyways but I didn't want to fry em and now I am wondering will I do it to all subs that I put in the "car of death" could it be the install, the amp or what I thought if it was the install that it would hurt the amp before it kills the speakers right what do I do!?
