Help!!!!!

I just found this website..so hopefully u guys ( and chicks lol ) can help me out...I got a 2000 mitsu eclipse... i got a pwr acc. 3000db @ 1ohm amp...powering 2 power bass 15"S (which hold about 800-1000 rms a pce) k...my problem is this... i got 0 gauge wiring blah blah blah 2 batterys...yellow top in front and red top in back.... for some reason...when i play my system for about 4-6 hours...it kills my red top battery (in the back keeps its at about 8.6 volts) but my yellow top stays at the right voltage level..and my alternator works fine ( had it tested) we put a battery isolater in the car...yeah...still didnt work...so theres my problem...so plz...any advice u have or comments or suggestions would be great... i have aol aim screen name crxhonda91si or yahoo johnnyjjohnnyj@yahoo.com thnx for ur time!!!!

switch the redtop and the yellow top. theyre in the wrong spots.

redtops are starting batteries.

It also sounds like you dont have a good charging chain in between the two batts.

I believe the yellowtop is supposed to go in the back, it's a deep cycle (can handle large discharges and recharges).

I thought thats what the battery isolator was to keep the main electrical system from dischargeing when you are playing the stereo with the car off?

maybe I dont understand your problem, kinda confusing with all of the blah blahs and ...'s
