Help!!!!!

hi there i have 2 amps and all the proper wiring everythign was working fine until last week my alternator died, no big deal right installed a new one and voila no porblems but now my amps are not working they are lit up not in protection mode or anything but no sound, well the components are very low and fuzzy and nothing from the subs any ideas??? everything is getting sufficent power and ive checked all the other obvious things ie. speaker wires and rca's grounding etc...

any ideas please?

something sounds fried... you might want to check and make sure the HU is sending a good signal to the amps. Try replacing the RCA's as well.

No, subs being friend would have nothing to do with his speakers sounding low and fuzzy now would it.

Also, how would you explain it? the alternator died but before it did it sent out a surge which didnt send the amps circuit boards into protect but it created enough power to instantly melt the vc's?

Check the fuse maybe!?
