They will sound the same. The one with more power can have more output. You couldn’t pay me to own a Rockford amp

Sounds like apline is the way to go.

The RF is more powerful, my Punch 1k was under rated by 40%.

Rockford is dirty power. And power hungry. Alpine is ok but that’s it. Much better to be had
