when calculating port air velocity, I understand that (by clicking the signal tab in the project window) you have to enter the drivers RMS value, but I dont understand why they ask for series resistance. Why would that affect port velocity? For instance, my sub is a D4, but Im going to wire it in parallel, should I enter 8 or should I enter 2? Also, do I keep the distance at 3.281 ft or should I change it to the distance between the drivers seat and sub box for best results?
When I was reading winISD's contents, it suggests to keep air velocity to under 17 meters/second. Are they for real? That seems really low, I would need a very big port to keep it that low. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif I appreciate the help. Thanks!
