help with teh box design

im having a brain fart right now so bare with me



now with the port 8.5 wide and 17.5 tall 18" deep i get 148.75sq in, doing a double baffle

what is the displacement of the port i dont know if i need to add height to the box or take away depth, i want it as close to 12 cubes net as i can, using 44.5x19x36 i get around 15 cubes, i need to figure out port displacement, the displacement of a double baffle, take away .5 cubes for the MT's and a some for the bracing on the inside

I think you're almost at your mark without changing any dimensions.

I came out to about 13.1 cubic feet taking into consideration wood thickness of all walls, port wall, and double baffle. After you subtract the subs and bracing, you should be very close to 12 cubes.

i plan to use 1.25" wooden dowels and maybe some threaded rod for bracing, and i might do 45's in the corners

I already did and yes, it looks fine. You will probably be a little over 12 cubes unless you do some serious bracing.

well dowels and 45s in corner should put it close i would hope

yeah, looks about right, i'm guessing you'll be under 12.5 after a decent amount of bracing and driver displacement.
