Help with taking out stereo!!!

there is a clip that 'clips' to the side of the chassis. it's what keeps the unit from sliding out (obviously). the tool slides between the cage and the chassis of the unit to release the clip. you have to get it just right. it's a pain in the ass.

The butterknife will be to thick. You will end up scratching your radio and/or dash.

You can either go to walmart and get the little tool to release the radio

or

You can stop by an audio shop and see if they will do it for you real fast.

It only takes maybe 5 seconds to do it if you know what your doing.
