Help with system

I have 2 12" Dual Kicker CVR hooked up to a HIFONICS BXi1608D. I've been running them for about 6 months and they sound great, but the other day on my way home the subs stopped working. The amp is on and not on protect mode but my subs aren't blown. I get no sound, I had a similar problem with my old HU were my output channel was blown, could that be the problem in this case? Did i blow the channel of my HU? Is this why i get no sound? sorry for the long Explanation. Can someone help?

are you positive you didnt blow your subs? did you take them out and test the ohm load?

check all rca cables,speaker wire?

what kind of hu? Hit a big bump and something come loose somewhere? Its really heard to tell, could be many things...

Hook an MP3 player directly to the amp with a 1/8" to RCA cable. If you have no sound the subs are blown or the amp is bad. If you do then you have a problem somewhere in the RCA's/HU.

I'm sure the speakers aren't blown. I Have a Kenwood DPX302. I disconnected the subs and hooked up the amp to a speaker that works and i still don't get sound... This is giving me a headache because i miss my sounds..

You won't get any sound from anything hooked up to the amp if there is a bad input. Do what I said to make sure the RCA's are good.

Ok I'll try it but i have to wait until my wife gets home because the Ipod is in her car.
