Help With System

Ok, well I've finally decided to upgrade my cheap pos system !! My sub blew a coil this past week.

But I need help picking the right sub/amp combo for my needs.

This is what I already have:

HeadUnit: Pioneer Premier P880PRS(On order)

Current Sub: Audiobahn ALUM12N 1000w Sub http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_4079.html

Current Amp:

A8000T 800w Amp http://www.cardomain.com/item/ABNA8000T

Side Note: I picked up a box from a guy at work for super cheap. He says the box is 2.0 cubic feeet and it has a front side port. It was made for a mtx 9500 sub.

This is what I need(I'm not sure if this is ALL I need):

My Budget for sub is to keep it under $200 shipped. I'm not sure on the amp budget, jsut dont want to blow all my money here.

So I need a 12" Subwoofer (I want it to be prettty Loud)

I'm thinkin I'm gonna need a new amp too??what do you guys think??

If I do need a new amp, which do you recommend?

Might want to try a Type-R, Pioneer TS-W3002SPL, or a Kicker L7. All of those could be had for under $200 and sound decent, if you get the L7 you will need a new box though. I got an amp for you to if you want it.

Thanks, but now i'm thinking i want to hold out a little to save up some more money and get much better stuff.

I want an spl sub/amp that wont cost much more than 500ish.

What are your reccommendations?

I'm gonna be using the same box stated above(2.0 cubic feet tuned at 34 hz)

if your going for spl you going to want a box designed for your sub.

Ok, i understand that.

Let me just say that I'm going to be using my current box: 2ft^3 tuned at 34HZ

those subs i listed can use my current box. thats one reason im looking at them.

I'm not specificaly looking for spl but i prefer that over sq, although the best would be sql. But i want to get the most for my money.
