Help with system

no idea about the box I have.. I just bought it off a buddy with two 12" speakers already in it, for like 30$.. Two sony xplods i think.. (garbage) lol.. But anyways I do know its ported.. That is all

That box will be fine for now, change it if the quality is bad or if you dont like it overall

Worry about the box when you get back home brother

70 is way too much for shipping, BUT thats probably how the seller is making up for (probably) selling the subs cheaper

also, like i said is there any particular box styles (ported), that you can link to.. So that i know what i might be looking for if the one i have happens to sound like crap?

Your best bet would be to get with people on here(who we can refer you to later) who build boxes, and have them build it for you to fit your needs, cost you around 200 dollars for the box, maybe a tad more maybe a tad less I dont really know

As for the interiors, they're okay BUT keep in mind if you havnt been doing it for a while, and even if you have,there were always better choices lol, they'll do fine for now, but sooner or later you're *probably* going to find yourself wanted to amplify them, but we'll get to that when you get there

Polks have pretty decent quality, I used to run DB650's in my F-150 about a year and a half ago now, good quality just need some power behind them to get even remotely loud

And the S's have mediocre quality and get fairly loud on lower power

thats cool. I understand they are not top quality.. But I just wanted to upgrade for the price, for the time being.. Because my 6x9s i had in the rear deck were blown (if barely even working at all) and the side doors were stock speakers as well.. So I figured i would replace them.. Which i know will make me 150% more happy with the inside sound.. I know i could have got better, but for the price.. I think ill be pretty happy.. The main thing now is just the subs, and the amp.. I have the money, just need to find the best prices.. as for the amp, i need to find one period.

well if i could find an amp right now to suit the needs of two type r's... If its under 200$ i could definatelly purchase it now.. Thats what im trying to do actually.

Just MAKE SURE you pick up references and make sure the person is trustworthy so you dont get dicked overseas man lol
