Help with system setup (subs and amp)

I am thinking about 2 12" subs. Are Alpine Type-R's or Infinity Perfects pretty good? I mostly listen to R&B and Club type music. So I'd want something that would hit hard and deep.

The car is a BMW 325is. I would like to go with a sealed box to save space. I just bought a JBL1200.1 amp to power whatever subs I get.

Any Suggestions?

both have very very good SQ...with pretty good SPL. You would be happy with either of these subs. I would say go with the perfects. But, if you find a better deal on the alpines...go with them

Yeah, I figured someone would come out and say those. I wish those subs would have some type of design on them.

I thought about the Shivas but I need some subs that look better since I will be doing a show type install.

whats to show? chrome? stickers? if you are truely gonna do a show car these things dont matter as you could paint (get painted) or even plate them

Yeah, I'm thinking about painting them or make them look better somehow. Would the JBL1200.1 be a good amp for two 12" Shivas? How should I wire them and how much RMS wattage would be going into each?

straight parrallel and email adire to send you the parts (like the basket and back plate ) so u can get it done up before they put it together

Parallel wiring is where the negative runs to every negative post and the positive runs to every positive post, right?

600 that jbl does its rated power rms
