help with sql

alright guys im starting a new build and iv never dealt with sql or sq in general.

im trying to choose subs first.

ive thought of these subs so far

re xxx or some sort of audiopulse

im really looking for 15s or 18s thats why i only chose those so far but am willing to hear ideas from you guys that actually no about sq.

for amps it depends on what subs i end up with but will probably be sundown. maybe 1-2 3500's

iv been looking at rainbow because its all i have ever owned for sq but open to ideas. in comps all i am really looking for is to be loud and sound good.

i will need comps to keep up with 2 15s or 18s and still keep clear.

amps for comps will also probably be sundown.

and last but not least would be a hu i thought of a 880prs but would love to be able to have a dvd screen but not sure what would work the best.

any help would be appreciated.

Good luck on that one. You will need at least 8" midbass to make an attempt at it

many drivers would be "SQ" oriented if the rules of acoustics were considered prior to installation. that said, drivers don't all sound the same. When it comes to power handling, which you'll apparently need, Morel's always come to mind..and they're works of art in the upper lines. Dyn's are perhaps more affordable but have you considered home drivers and skipping the car audio industry marketing commissions?

Will this be active or passive?

Do you have room for a center channel?

Ever considered an Alpine CDA 9887?

What's the budget?

Is an Ipod involved?

I'd definitely look into peerless, daytons and the like for subs, why spend so much on so few frequencies? They'll keep up, I promise That said, I run a morel Ultimo for a sub, so I understand needing the goods, too.
