So I replaced my stock radio with one I've had for a while that I like better (Sony cd player).
I connected all the wires by hand and tape (no connector assembly) and everything was great....until yesterday. I went to lunch, listened to the radio, no prob. 3 hours later I start up the car to go home.. and my right rear speaker starts giving a horrible feedback regardless of radio volume.
When I got home , I tried replacing the old speaker with a newer one, and still had the same problem. It's only coming from the one speaker location, no matter what speaker is there and no matter if the volume is off or not.
If I fade and balance the speakers so only the right rear is playing and I crank up the volume to 20+ I can faintly hear the music in the background with the feedback mostly drowning it out. The feedback noise does not seem to change volume regardless of the radio volume.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
