Help with sony HU...

Ive got one of the Sony MP3 playing HU's, i dont know the model number, but when i play regular cd's or when i play the mp3 cd's i get a fuzz or whine out of the speakers? is this the HU or is it the wiring or somthing else? This never occured with the stock stereo. Is there a way to fix this, possibly by addidng a filter somewhere maybe? Any help greatly appreciated.

do you have any power amps? if yes make muting plugs. They are hacked off rca ends. You take the center prong wire and connect it to the outer ring wire. make enough to plug into all channels of your amp. Is the amp clean now?
