Help with sony HU install

I have a sony cdx-ca760x. The problem i am having is that when i hook it up the back panel heats up incredibly within 5 minutes. anyone know what is/ could be the cause of this. Also If anyone has the wiring diagram for this deck it would be appreciated. Another thing that i noticed was when DSO was on i couldnt turn the volume up alot before the sound was distorted but when DSO was off it was fine.
