Help with recone/motor problem

So I just bought a re mt recone and 18" basket cuz it was a good deal. Now my question is are their any other motors besides the mt that will work. It's a drop in recone already assembled. If nothing else would fit I guess I will search for a mt but I don't see those often. The coil measurements are \ 82.5mm outer diameter ,75.9 mm inner diameter, 56.20 mm winding. Found a mach 5 spl motor they are suppose to be similar to the mt motor. Anybody know it it will work. Thanx

Here is some pic secks green basket (powder coated) just laying on a hx2 motor. It's close but wont work.

what you have to look for isnt just the gap it fits in but that the coil is centered in the gap and that it wont bottom on in the motor.

the most common motor to find that the sub will fit in perfect is a tc9 2 1" slugs or 3 3/4" slugs. also a tc3hp it will fit perfectly.

That coil should fit all kinds of motors... its a pretty common size...

An HX2 is a bad fit because you are trying to put a 1200 watt coil into a 500 watt motor...

I thought the coil was much higher than 1200? YEa that was just gfor pic purposes that motor isint strong enough i kno

1200rms(daily) will handle much more for burps.

prob with that recone is 5 spiders rather see 3 nomex spiders so there is less friction and holds up longer than the polycottons

I think he said it was the quad spider one. IM ordering a mach 5 spl motor. If it fits ill use it. If it doesnt ill sell the mt recone and get one for the spl motor.
