I'm looking to buy 2 subs, my budget is around $200 right now, theres a guy selling 2 alpine SWR-12D4 type R 12" for $200 in box would that be a good buy or should I go for something else or just save my money and wait to get something better? Thanks for any help in advance!

No but I will help a fellow basshead out and find him a better stuff then alpine woofers... And your useless on the forums... Just post to see yourself talk. Never have information to help people just smart asss comments with no real use. One day maybe you will learn enough to be able to pass it on and help others. Until then u can be siting there twiddling your thumbs and licking the window on your short bus.

These are old beast!!!! 1000watt and 3" voicecoils... Had two 12s on a directed 1500d and was doing 143db in a trunk like ten years ago. Very nice deal for $100 both

Yeah, they should take the mtx 1000 great at 2 ohms. Now hopefully the guy will respond haha it looks like he forgot to add his phone number or any way to contact him besides craigslist email. And yeah for $100 it'll be alot easier on my budget might even be able to pick up a new head unit since mine just took a **** on me haha. Wrong. Those subs were introduced in 2001 and have an rms of 500/1000 max. I would say either 2"-2.5" voicecoil. They're made for sealed enclosures. Fs: 15-2,000Hz
