Help with power solution please!!!

Can any one help with a power solution for this system I'm about to install in my car. My last install in my other car had light dimming, so I don't want to encounter the same problem here by under thinking anything.

Here's the set up

CAR : 94' Cutlass Supreme

Subwoofer : two 12's (Kickers CVR's) Rated at 800W and 400RMS 4 ohms DVC

Amp : 1 Kenwood KAC-8152D, (mono) 1100W 550RMS at 2ohm

Wires : 0/1 power/negative.

I need to know some power options, any upgrade to the car components if so. Recommended battery, cap if needed. Will appreciate the help if so.

thats not a huge amount of power, but its always a good idea to do the big 3. i would say do that first and see if you get dimming. if so get a new batt upfront with a higher reserve capacity. and if thats not helping, and the battery that you have is rated to do enough watts then look into getting a new alt.

Yup the big 3 on older cars up here in MI should get rid of your dimming as long as you have any sort of decent battery

That Kenwood is only going to do around 300 watts @ 4 ohms.

I would check your grounds and if they are solid get your battery and alt checked
