help with port in a truck

right now i had plans to do a sub up port up does anyone have any experience with this to have me decide otherwise? this is my second box build and want to get it right this time, or is sub up port up the way to go in a truck?

reg cab? extended cab, quad cab?

Standard cab? Subs forward, port out passenger side was loudest for me.

Extended cab? Subs forward, port up seems to be the loudest for most.

it is extended cab, and i'm sittin the box on the jump seats that fold down

i also asked this on cac and they mostly said sub up port up, but i figured i'd see what ya'll said too
