Help with Orion 2500D

I just recently bought a Orion 2500D since my Kicker 1200.1 gave out on me for the second time.

I have a DD 9512e tuned to 45 Hertz. I have the Orion hooked up now and it is no where near what the 1200.1 could do.

Ive never messed with a High Pass Filter (thats the SSF right?). What should I have that set at?

And the Low pass filter?

Also since Im trying to run it @ 1ohm shouldnt I use the outside negative and positive speaker terminals.

The amp also has a option for the gain which is either master or copy...which one should I use on that?

And then What about the 12-24-Full switch?

I didn't receive a Owners manual since I bought it refurbed from Ikesound.

you need to DL adobe acrobat.. then it takes a couple seconds for it to load...

I am also looking for this info Whookid, I have a 2500d for my XXX but it dosent seem like its playing to its full pontential...I have my HPF set around the "33hz" switch, LPF set about the same. On the "24-12-FULL" I have it set on 24. Gain switch is on "Master" It picks up the lows but dosent seem it get very loud. Anyone got any suggestions???

set the gain switch to gain, set it 24 and the HPF should be at 80 and the lpf should be at whaeva ya box is tuned 2 i believe. u really dont wha ya sub playin below tunning. tune ya box lower, y tune so high? play wit the intelli q some, but dont go pass half. u can use any of the + - of the amp. i use the 1st set.

I got it set right now. My Kicker 1200.1 was moving my sub better than this Orion.

Then you don't have it set.

The only thing I can think of is that your gain on the amplifier is all the way down.

I had a buddy check everything over and everything is hooked up fine. Im returning it to ikesound 2morrow.

i expected a little more from mine too... but mine was a brand new 2500d.... on my dd9515 5 cubes net tuned to ~35~..
