So ill be doing a new setup soon and need some help on new subs, ill have about 3000-4000rms depending on subs. I want to run either 2 18"s or 4 15"s. Currently thinking of doing 2 18" FI Q's again but would like some other options. Budget is $600 but i can go a little higher if its worth it and i can go up to 15^3ft. Also i would like to buy new, but again if its a good deal i will consider used. Thanks a bunch in advance!

i dont know how a pair of qs would like 4krms. why not the bls or btls?
Just because i have 4krms doesn't mean i have to use all of it, thats just the most power i will be running. Any other help?

Do you have an amp or are you going to purchase subs first? I would say try out some subs from Incriminator Audio. THey have 5 differet levels of subwoofers starting at around $120 for a 187 series 15". as far as bang for the buck goes, 4 - 187" 15"s with a amp(s) rated at about 2000-2500rms will be loud. Here is the plus side of staying close to 2000rms also, You wont NEED to upgrade your alternator if you have not already done so. It will help if you do but it wont be needed. So i would say alot of your decision has to do with how far you are willing to go. Staying in the same power range, you could do 2- Death Row 18"s also.

Hit up RIO or myself about the IA stuff or any other help or questions you may have. He is a dealer. I have 4- Deathpenalty 18"s in my ford ranger and a Death Row 18" in my Chevy.. Hell, maybe you can run some 21" subs...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Talking to rio right now, im pretty much set on 4 15"s but i cant decide between the IA 187 series or the AQ SDC series.

You could do the 8" as a front sub on its own amp and use it to bridge/enhance the gap between your 12" in the rear to the midranges
