Help with New 6-1/2" Component Speakers

I have a new 08 Accord Sedan and want to replace my front stock component speakers with something new and better. I don't plan to replace the 270 Watt system and want to spend around $200 (online price) for the best component speakers.

What do you guys recommend?

Search "6.5 component" there are probably 4 threads a week about your question and most are 200-300 price range, you can get some good ideas in there

Get the ID CTX like everyone else is saying. They fit your bill and are great speakers.

What is your RMS per channel in the Accord system?

Know that; you can began selection of the proper speakers! I like Alpine myself but you might prefer something else. I any case; read some reviews and the music they listen to.
