Help with my proposed system

i am hoping that you guys with all your car audio knowledge can help me get everything straightened out before i order anything.

im looking to get a fully loaded 12" btl and power it with a kicker zx2500. i can get the sub in dual 1ohm and then it could be wired into 2ohms which would be perfect for that amp right?

ive been reading about needing to upgrade my electrical, so i would like to know everything i need to do in that aspect and all the parts i would need.

this will be going into my extended cab ranger so hopefully someone can show me a quality alternator that will fit and what i should do about batteries.

i live in ct and would pay for someone to help me install my stereo, because im kind of leary having a shop do it.

any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

That sub and amp combo will work well. For electrical you'll need a High Output alternator, a couple of dry cell batteries, Big 3 in 0 gauge. Will probably want to upgrade your front stage to keep up though. I don't know who all makes alties for that truck, but some good companies for HO Alts are Ohio Generator, Iraggi, Excessive Amperage, and a few more I can't think of right now.

what size alternator would you guys reccomend? i think i should be able to fit a kinetik 1400 under the hood and a 2400 in the rear should that be enough battery?

what would you guys reccomend for speakers? i have 6x8's all around in my truck so thats as big as i can fit without major cutting. i listen to rap/hip hop so sound quality isnt my biggest concern but i assume ill need better speakers with a amp to keep up with the bass.

can anyone help me? im think i may try and find a orion 2500d instead of a zx2500.1 to save some money.

mainly need to know what size alt i need and how many/what size batteries
