help with my new project, bandpass enclosure.

Well all i really want is SPL so i want to make a bandpass enclosure.

I've never built a bandpass enclosure myself before and all these calculators and programs are confusing me to every extent.

all my subs info:

FS = 33.52

VAS= 1.53

QMS= 3.41

QES = .469

QTS= .4121

XMAX= .3"

600rms.

Reccomended ported size was 1.7 cubic feet.

If anyone could please through me some measurements or what kind of cuts to make for a box like this

it'd probably be louder (musically) in a ported box, than a 4th order bandpass, unless you do 6th order bandpass...

it'd probably be louder (musically) in a ported box, than a 4th order bandpass, unless you do 6th order bandpass...

over a wider range yea it will be more musical..but if he wants something more frequecy specific than 4th order or 6th order is the way to go

I dont really think he does want something thats just loud at one frequency though... I think he wants loud musical...

he can tune a bandpass thats musical...trust me depending on he design

it can be very musical....ask 6spdcoupe,3.5max how my setup sound...and there sq lovers

if he does a ported box i would make a medium to large ported box

im running a ported but its somewhat half assed, i really had my eyes on making a bandpass box for my next build.

edit: but if anyone could throw me a design together please let me know.

still open to a designer, want max SPL from the enclosure. will pay for the design if needed.

try 1cube sealed playing into 2cubes ported with 40square inch port(10wide x 4 high) tuned to 70hz

u should get loud..and still be able to play music
