Help with my first system?

Hey everyone, this is obviously my first post here and I am currently looking in to buying the equipment for my first system. I have a 1999 Dodge Durango, and I want 2 front speakers, a new head unit, amp, box, and 2 12 inch subs. For speakers I have my eye on JBL GTO629s, but I'm not really sure about anything else. I primarily listen to rap music, and as far as budget goes I have about $70 to spend on a head unit, $100 on speakers, and then about $200-250 combined to spend on an amp, box, and subs. Do you guys have any suggestions for me? Also, I have not the faintest idea on what wiring I'll need or anything like that.

Sorry if this isn't in the correct section; it seemed like the best fitting one for this post.

for that budget man, probably only gotta get those beginner bass packages like these

MTX TNP212D Amplified and Loaded Dual 12" Enclosed Subwoofer

NVX 2-NSW122_BBX212RD_BAK42_BB2000D - Sonic Electronix this one comes with the wiring kit you'll need.

I'd definitely boost that budget for the head unit man. Cheap head unit = sh*tty sound, doesn't matter how good your speakers are, if the sound processing is horrible it'll aways sound horrible. Head unit makes the biggest difference in sound quality. I'd get a clarion cz702 from sonicelectronix since they'll give you a wiring harness along with a dash kit with your order worth 30 bucks if you buy it individually off amazon.

As for aftermarket door speakers, they generally arent worth it unless you pump it full of juice with an amp.

Thanks for the advice, I was actually looking at that loaded mtx box yesterday. Can you think of any other HUs with good sound quality but without all the extra features such as bluetooth and pandora link? Only input I need is aux and I'd prefer not to spend the $140. Also, how expensive of an amp would I need for the door speakers? My stock speakers are currently shot to ****; new ones are definitely essential.
