Help with my first system.

Just got my license and I want to put a system in my little beater. Well its not really a beater but its not a real nice car. I have a 91 Saturn, not sure what model but its a small two door with a manual. I was just wondering how would these work in this car?

Please if these just arent going to be any good make a better suggestion. I dont want to spend a bunch of money, im not looking to enter any comps or anything, also would I need an amp to run those subs? If so whats a good model? Thanks
