do both subs sound the same separtaly or is one worse than the other?

they sound the same when alone

but when they are together, the one that rattles more seems like it is shaking more. like pops out farther.. i don't know if that has anything to do with it.

May have somthing to do with the fact that you have them hooked up in stereo to only one set of channels.

They're wired wrong.

Hook up the amp like stones explain and that should fix your problem. Still would be helpful to know what voice coil configuration the subs are.

i was wondering about that. i've never dealt with a 4 channel amp before. no clue in how to wire it. i'll try your suggestions. thanks for the help. i just hope i didn't get ripped off.

I am using a 4 channel amp to power a pair of subs in my wifes car and it works fine, we can make this work for you.

the ones i have are black but concept is written bigger through the middle and the writing is yellow

i guess the closest match would be the HZ-124 but with yellow writing
