help with midbass

I have a bravox cs k60 comp set for my front stage.It has a linkwitz-riley passive crossover.The problem i am having is there is not much midbass coming from the speakers.The comp set is hook to a 4 channel amp.Does the HPF on the amp control how much midbass i hear on the comp set or is this controlled only by the passive crossover?Should i set the HPF on the amp to around 80hz to get more midbass or will it have no effect on the front stage?My gains were set with a 1k test tone using an Oscope.Thanks for the help.

yea the passive crossover controls the HP for the mids. can't really help you on the midbass because i never heard of that comp set before. how much power you giving the components?
