Hello from cali. I just got into the forum found some great help here in building a custom box for a sub i got. How ever im a little lost with some lingo found in the comments.

What is an order? "yeah that is a 4th order band pass"

What is a tline and tout "that tline will give you no tout"

Why is spl important over sound quality?

831 is in my area. A 4th other is a box that give you a wide range of frequencies by having a sealed and ported chambers. A tline is a big box with lots of port that gives a ton of output with little power pushed to the sub or subs

I believe 4th orders sound best if you can fit one in your vehicle. but if you are going for some SQ sealed boxes get no love in the SPL world lol
