Hello all. So I have a 2012 Honda Civic, and bought myself a Pioneer AVH-2500NEX radio. I know I need to buy myself a dash kit, but dont know what kind or where. Also, I need a wiring mount I believe. One that will allow me to continue to utalize my steering wheel controls. Any help is appreciated as far as what type to get and from where, as im not a car guy and have never done this, so its all foreign to me.

Another vote for Crutchfield if you haven't already called them. They've been doing this since they were a mail order catalog before the internet. They have everything imaginable for factory integrations, can quickly tell you what you need, and are good with support/returns if needed.

Agreed with this here. Since you have the unit pulled out of the car/dash...test it at your car battery directly for operation. very simple to do...

Yeah, put the probes on the power wire and ground wire of the amplifier. Multimeter on DC. Do not put it on the wires that go to your speakers. M
