Help with Kicker L7's

Is there a certain box i need to have for these kinda subs so that the sub could be facing either towards the front of the car, or so that they could be in an open area instead of a tight closed trunk? Because i have a dodge stealth now and the only way i can even get them to fit is witht he pushed back pretty much on my back seat but it sounds like CRAP comapred to when I had them in my tight trunk in my beretta. If anyone can tell me why or help me fix that please do, thanks

j/k man try going ported as well if your placing it in the trunk. You'll get more output. Don't worry about sacrificing space as wellif you gonna put it in your back seats. If your just harnessing it on your back seats building a box should be no problem for you.

Aim them towards the rear of the car. Make sure they are ported. And make sure you are powering them correctly.

Could this bad noise coming from the front of the subs possibly becuz the 2 subs share a chamber and they hit agasint each other? I got 2 subs in one box and they arent seperated, just one box.

mine is facing me and it pushed all the way to the trunk and it sounds the best. You need to try different things, another thing that will affect the sound is where the port is located. Dont have it too close to any wall item etc.

try having a box built for it. if you can find a quality box builder to buid the exact port dimensions and tune the box, you will be overly impressed with the amount of output. probably not the cheapest way to go but thats not a cheap sub, so treat it right.
