help with install...??

i have two jl amps hooked up.... a 300/4 and a 500/1... running 4ga from battery fused at 60 amps and then to a distro block with each amp fused at 60 amps again... i'm only pushing one ten inch sub and when the bass hits hard the 500/1 shuts off... the only way it goes back on is when i pull the fuse and then re-insert it... it doesn't blow the fuse or go into any kind of safe mode... what is the problem here any answers...

you're having a voltage drop. Do the big 3 upgrade and run 1/0 back to the distro with a 200-300A main fuse and then from the distro run two 4awg lines with a 100A fuse on each line. If the problem still occures.. get a new battery. after that.. get a HO alternator.
