help with headrest monitors

a buddy of mine has a hummer h3 with some headrest monitors, each monitor has its own dvd player, he said they dont have any power, if he has an aftermarket deck i can just tie them into the remote wire, right? how would i go about powering them with a factory deck? he didnt say if they were aftermarket screens or factory, same for the deck, any help is appreciated guys!!!
