pop all your needles off and shit, and lay it over the old one. shouldnt be too hard...least thats what i did in my truck, but i photoshopped a rendering i did of the truck and how i want it to look when finished, and that was the background of the gauges or whatever.

Alright thanks man , but that pic of your rendering of photoshop you were talking bout could you pm me it or post it up here i would like to see what you did may give me some idea's thanks man.

well...depends on your vehicle...

but everytime I have done gauges. You turn the car to the on position (not running) and take a pen and paper and draw where each needle sits. turn the car off, and then procede to remove the needels...when you are done putting the overlay on turn the car back to the on posistion and put the needles in the place where you have them drawn.

Oh ok , that sounds like a bettter explanation to it chevyaudio thanks. but just one more question if you could answer what do i do with the wires then?

HEY, ANOTHER MARK VII GUY-

me and my brother restore these cars, i also have an '89, but listen-

i was going to put this kit on my car, but if you noticed the 84's-89's only had 85mph speedos, but the 90-92's had the 120 mph speedo. they dont make this kit for the 120mph. so i would recomend ditching this kit and installing the 120mph speedo like i did.
