help with fosgate p1 10

im using a fosgate p1 10 in my living room. 50 watt amp runnin it. my room is 12x14....should i use a sealed or ported box??? and seein as my room is bigger than the inside of a car...should i build the box the size fosgate recommends???? any ideas will be much help.....thanks

umm id go ported in a room for sure. idk that 50 watts is enough but build a ported box.

House watts seem to be alot more than car watts tho. Is that cuz a house is 120?

Like say for instance a 300w powered sub from a good company like Polk will shake an entire house...but 300w in a car isnt much at all
