Help with first real audio build

Im new to the forums so let me start off ny saying hi. and my name is chad.

I know my way around a system but not on a pro level, i can do basic headunit and amp install.

Any more than that and im lost thats why in here.

so this is my situation i have a 1995 240sx that is 100% stock all the way down to the factory radio and amps. now i would like to keep my stock radio and the best way that i know to go about doing that is with a high to low converter but were do i put it befor the stock amp or after???

also i would like to install an amp for my surrounding speakers. but i have no idea on how to do that with out preouts???

my set up that i have right now would be

a cadence amp(spelling) i have no idea of power that it puts out

p2 with a homemade box built to spec

RF 250watt street edge

trying to decide on componet speakers

by no means am i trying to have the best of the best just a nice clean sounding system for my car with out having to break the bank
