I recently got my new box built and I am not completely happy with the output.. what I notice is the passenger can hear a lot more bass then I can. If I move around the cab it gets louder in certain places by a good amount. The only way I can get it loud in the driver seat is to roll the windows down. I had the same problem when I had a 12 behind the seat year ago. My W7 8" console box didnt seem to have this issue. Its a regular cab Dodge ram. Anyone else run into this?

consider yourself lucky. you could be driving a ford ranger and have to open the passanger side door to get any decent output.

at least you can ride around with your windows down be fine...who the hell is gonna ride around with their door open?

its a characteristic of the truck.

Yeah, I am noticing that. I mean its like almost no output at all with the windows up... unless your the passenger. I had an 8" W7 that would dominate my IDmax at the moment with the windows up. Something about being a console box and having the 8" firing forward made it louder with windows up compared to the IDmax. IDmax owns the W7 8" with windows down though. Oh well. Bring on the bass boost and some burnt coils:rolleyes:

yeah i have a standard cab dodge ram, and i swear i can use my Passanger side window as a bass knob, the lower the window louder the bass and i never have to touch the headunit or bass knob
