Help !!! With distribution block?

OKay, I am ready to take my truck to install my system. I have a Chevy Avalanche. I installed my midgate box, with (2) P3's at 4 Ohm. I am powering these up with a P10001BD Mono amp. This includes a 4ga wiring kit and a 1 farad capacitor. I bought (2) eBay Item Number 150226156415. One for Postive and the other for Negative. So I called the shop for estimate, and they asked if I have a distribution block? I said no, what is that? He said, I might need one. But its hard to see over the phone. I really dont know what they are for, however they look more like hooking up more amps and such.

So my question to you is, with the above information do I need a distribution block? If so, what do I need?

Thanks, Dave

Honestly, if he doesn't charge too much for it, just have him install one anyway. Preferably a fused one for the +12v line. This way if you ever want to add more amps, it's retarded easy to do. Also, using a fused distro block will allow you to remove the fuse and effectively kill the +12v line to your amp. Making removing it or working on it much safer and easier.
