Help with diagnosing problem with Subwoofers

Hi I need help diagnosing a problem with my subwoofers. When I turn my car on, but my radio is off the subwoofers are "Humming or vibrating" violently even though they are not getting any kind of signal. Not sure what could be causing this.

check your amp's ground. If you have a multimeter, you can see what voltage is going to the amp, if its less than 12V, you need to figure out what's wrong (grounding, cracked fuse, etc)

real quick could you describe how to check voltage going to the amp? Just want to be sure so I don't fry my multimeter

honestly it's probably your power wire near/on your remote
